Open World Explorers offers guided day hiking and day winter snowshoeing tours. Tours are not simply about hiking or conquering summits.  Tours focus on learning and understanding the natural environments and habitats through with the hike passes.  Your leader, an experienced hiker and educator, will help to interpret the forest ecology, glacial landscapes, and identification of plants and animals.  Overtime, hiking with OWE will improve your own naturalist instincts and abilities.
