Steve is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and presents the information in an accessible way, without a lot of jargon. In particular with the focus on beginners, he did a great job of breaking down the very basics of what is needed in binoculars, field guides and other equipment, anticipating questions that often arise during other nature-related programs.
